En este contexto, analizamos el panorama del mercado de videojuegos en Per\u00fa, los h\u00e1bitos de consumo de los peruanos y las perspectivas de crecimiento del sector con la visi\u00f3n experta de Patricia Paulet, subdirectora de la Facultad de Tecnolog\u00eda de IDAT. <strong>D\u00cdA MUNDIAL DEL VIDEOJUEGO: EL AUGE DEL MERCADO GAMER EN PER\u00da<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El mercado de videojuegos en Per\u00fa ha experimentado un crecimiento notable en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os. Seg\u00fan un estudio de la consultora Newzoo, el mercado peruano de videojuegos gener\u00f3 ingresos de aproximadamente 200 millones de d\u00f3lares en 2023, lo que representa un incremento del 15% en comparaci\u00f3n con el a\u00f1o anterior. <strong>Este crecimiento refleja la expansi\u00f3n de la base de jugadores y la adopci\u00f3n de nuevas tecnolog\u00edas en el pa\u00eds.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>EL AUGE DEL MERCADO GAMER EN PER\u00da<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Los videojuegos se han consolidado como una forma de entretenimiento preferida por muchos peruanos. Un informe de la consultora GfK indica que el 70% de los hogares peruanos cuenta con al menos una consola de videojuegos o una PC gaming. Patricia Paulet, subdirectora de la Facultad de Tecnolog\u00eda de IDAT, explica: &#8220;Los videojuegos han pasado de ser una actividad recreativa a una forma de socializaci\u00f3n y competencia. La pandemia aceler\u00f3 esta tendencia, aumentando el tiempo dedicado a jugar y el gasto en equipos y juegos&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El gasto promedio de los peruanos en videojuegos es significativo. Seg\u00fan datos de la Asociaci\u00f3n Peruana de Videojuegos (APV), un jugador peruano gasta en promedio S\/ 1,200 al a\u00f1o en la compra de juegos, consolas, y accesorios. <strong>Este monto incluye tanto las compras f\u00edsicas como digitales, destacando un fuerte aumento en las transacciones en l\u00ednea a trav\u00e9s de plataformas como Steam, PlayStation Store y Xbox Live.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En t\u00e9rminos de preferencias, los juegos de acci\u00f3n, aventura y deportes lideran las ventas en el mercado peruano. Sin embargo, los juegos m\u00f3viles han ganado terreno, especialmente entre los jugadores m\u00e1s j\u00f3venes. Patricia Paulet se\u00f1ala: &#8220;El mercado de juegos m\u00f3viles est\u00e1 creciendo a un ritmo acelerado debido a la accesibilidad de los dispositivos y la variedad de t\u00edtulos disponibles. Adem\u00e1s, las microtransacciones y los juegos gratuitos con compras integradas est\u00e1n impulsando el gasto en este segmento&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El impacto econ\u00f3mico de la industria de videojuegos en Per\u00fa no se limita solo al consumo. El desarrollo de videojuegos tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 tomando fuerza, con varias startups locales ganando reconocimiento internacional. Seg\u00fan el Ministerio de la Producci\u00f3n, <strong>el sector de desarrollo de videojuegos ha crecido un 20% anual en los \u00faltimos cinco a\u00f1os, creando empleo y fomentando la innovaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paulet a\u00f1ade: &#8220;El talento <a href=\"https:\/\/comunidaria.com\/final-historica-para-latam-con-el-enfrentamiento-entre-movistar-r7-e-infinity\/\">peruano<\/a> en desarrollo de videojuegos est\u00e1 siendo reconocido globalmente. Cada vez m\u00e1s empresas peruanas est\u00e1n exportando sus juegos y colaborando en proyectos internacionales, lo que abre nuevas oportunidades para el pa\u00eds en t\u00e9rminos de inversi\u00f3n y desarrollo tecnol\u00f3gico&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A pesar del crecimiento, el mercado de videojuegos en Per\u00fa enfrenta desaf\u00edos como la pirater\u00eda y la falta de infraestructura adecuada para el desarrollo de eSports.
